Our Origin Story

Antclock Media started in 2014 as a company called Ant, with a podcast service called Ant Podcast. Ant Podcast started in a small studio, set up and hosted by young people, targeted at the 21st century youth, with satisfied and entertained listeners and readers in Nigeria, Ghana, India, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Ant Podcast is one of the pioneer interactive Christian podcasts in Africa.

The inspiration behind the name “ant” is, you guessed it, the insect. The Bible itself describes the ant as being diligent and enterprising, taking initiative without needing to be goaded, wise in its doings, and “clock” to carry in our consciousness the need to seize every precious opportunity in order to learn and excel.
